Dennis is a professional. He certainly isn't the army major type of personal trainer. He has a soft gentle voice. But trust me after he finish's with you, you know it. I ache for about 4 days afterwards. 
He gets the balance right between motivating you and supporting you to achieve your full potential. 
He uses a mix of exercises to get great, lasting results. No fuss, no nonsense, just intensive, focused physical work.
I’ve had excellent results and recommend him highly.

I was recommended to Dennis by a mutual friend and had undertaken weekly hourly sessions with him over a three year period. I was searching for a Personal Trainer after I had a wake up call about my fitness levels following a routine health examination. He had a structured programme to each session and was actively interested in my performance and ways to improve my fitness. For each workout session, he adapted a pragmatic approach where he acknowledged what capabilities I had when doing specific exercises while also attempting to stretch me at the right and suitable moments to improve my fitness. At the end of every session, I always felt I was fully worked out, breaking a sweat. Dennis has a good knowledge of a broad and diverse range of exercises which I undertook. But I enjoyed the range of boxing exercises the best including sparring and knockout blows, as this acted as a great stress buster as well as developing my fitness.

 Dennis was always friendly, professional and always turning up to appointments on time. I would recommend him with positive commendations for any future clients.

I started training with Dennis in 2008. My fitness goal, at first was not weigh-loss but to increase my muscular strength. I weighed 72kgs, it was my dream to squat 100kgs. We achieved this within a few months and I got up to a personal best of 115kgs. As a added bonus I dropped to 66kgs, I had lost 6kgs of fat in the process.

Due to work, I had to stop training for a while but the lack of training lead to my body to put on 9kgs, taking my bodyweight up to 75kgs. I just had to go back to Dennis to get this weight off me. At first, the weight was not dropping off. I was only losing 100gms per week. I got so disheartened & I wanted to stop training but Dennis encouraged and motivated me, not to quit, He offered re-assurance me the weight would drop, if I gave it a bit more time. I decided to try his rapid weigh-loss plan and I am glad I did. I went from 75kgs to 61.5kgs. I have not been this light since I was in my twenties. I would wholeheartily recommend Dennis, if you want a Personal Trainer.

I've been using Dennis for nine years and quite simply it has been life changing. I've never been fitter, stronger or healthier and visibly it is apparent - no fat around the face and sharper features; solid thighs; and an overall toned physique. I am a vegetarian Asian and used to be a skinny 183 cm height with 69 kilograms before I met Dennis. After I started training with Dennis, I saw myself not only growing in strength but the size of the muscle as well, even just a training session per week that still don't keep me from growing. Now I am 79 kilograms 10 kilograms of pure muscle weight which has made me very happy that I am not the skinny guy any more. And all these time of training with Dennis, I can only say both hate and love It, because intense training that he gives would blow your whole body up, but hey! No Pain No Gain right? There are no short cuts to build up a fit body. And as for the key to grow strength and muscle, I believe you can find out after start training with Dennis.

 I trained with Dennis weekly for over a year and I was overwhelmed with the results. I had been going to the gym for years before but had seen little change in my body shape or overall level of fitness until I started training with Dennis. Working on weights and boxing, I toned up, went down a dress size from 12 to 10, saw my general strength and fitness levels rocket and my confidence improved massively. Due to a serious Achilles heel injury, the pounds soon went on my waist, so I decided to take up jogging along the seafront to shift it. But this became boring & monotonous. My trainer Dennis advised me, the time of day I did my cardio-vascular training was just as important as to how intensely I worked or how far I go. Dennis also introduced me to interval-training and the influence of meals. He gives a friendly, excellent service andI would recommend him to anyone.

I have always been fit but never really been strong. I've always found lifting weights to be unsatisfying because I didn't know what I was doing or what would have an impact. I had wanted to get fit so that I could start playing football again having had a few months out and being the wrong side of 30. When we started Dennis explained to me the importance of building up a solid foundation on which to build strength i.e. the legs and back. This made sense to me and made an instant impact on my confidence about lifting weights because I knew that any strength I had was in my legs. I didn't expect to be lifting such heavy weights as quickly as I did and found that each training session I felt stronger both physically and mentally.

When it came to using my upper body for bench presses my mind was telling me that it wasn't going to work but Dennis gave me the confidence to keep trying and keep lifting heavier weights and before long I was lifting them and could see my body changing shape. It was a really good feeling to feel like there were things that I couldn't dream of doing that I was now able to do, after only a few weeks of training. , I would recommend it to anyone.

Dennis is the best trainer anyone could work with. His methods and motivation enabled me to achieve my fitness goals during the years I trained with him. He is encouraging, informative as well as skillful in gauging how far to push during sessions and how to get you back to previous levels if you have had unavoidable gaps in training as I did. His attention to detail of technique and focus is superb and you can feel and see the improvement in one's performance during subsequent sessions. The only reason I am not training with him now is because I am resident outside the UK. I wanted to lose weight and gain fitness. I used to be very fit, being a rugby league player in my youth. I trained with Dennis twice per week for one year, I lost over 10kgs, inches off my waist as my chest, shoulders and arms grew. My wife started to have trouble buying me clothes as nothing would fit.
I thought about stopping training after 5 sessions, due to the high intensity of the workouts. But after a chat with Dennis who assured me of the great gains I had made, I was motivated and inspired by his words of encouragement. I decided to continue, I am glad I did. I had to pass a physical medical for a new job. I sailed through it with ease with the medical examiner stating I had the lung capacity of a man in his mid-twenties.
